We moved today. From the lovely little site at Trewince Farm, down on the Roseland peninsula to Treveague Farm, up the coast by Gorran Haven, just down from Mevagissy.

Our move was via Charlestown and ASDA at St Austell – another coffee stop down in the harbour where gig racing preparations were taking place. We parked on the top section of the approach road down to the harbour and walked the last half mile.

Treveague proves to be lovely. We have pitch 2 with restricted views of the sea both ways and the EHU and tap behind us. The little farm cafĂ© is special with a quaint little garden area of picnic benches and colourful umbrellas. Facilities are clean. It is a mixture of tents, motorhomes and caravans across several fields and isn’t crowded at all.

We were on site by 1pm and down sitting on the beach at Gorran Haven by three. Funny place is Gorran Haven – not our cup of tea at all, we didn’t warm to the place whatsoever but we find it difficult to articulate why.

After a lazy afternoon, we are now back on site reading the papers. We have wound out the awning for only the second time since we have had Bryony. Took us a few minutes to remind ourselves how to secure the legs!
